There's nothing more pleasurable than a fine meal. Nothing more pleasurable than taking your time with your fine meal, that is. You consume every moment of joy from feeding and will often set aside a night purely to indulge. There's nothing wrong with a quick bite, of course. Fast food does serve a purpose and sometimes a kindred finds they've been neglecting themselves and is in need of immediate sustenance; you simply believe this misses the joys intrinsic to dining.
Gourmands see the process of feeding as pleasurable and have learned how to more effectively slake their hunger by taking their time in preparing their meal. However, if they've not set out to indulge their predator that night they don't see the point in niceties like patience and table manners, with all the associated risks to The Masquerade.
Take a speciality in Etiquette (Courting,) Persuasion (Medical,) or Subterfuge (Seduction.)
Take the "Fine Dining" advantage (two dots.) By spending an entire night of company with your prey in intimate, luxurious or beautiful settings you can slake up to four points of hunger from a physically healthy mortal. Slaking with Fine Dining takes 12 turns at the end of the night, involving a single, non-harmful kiss which can be licked closed. The mortal will attempt to justify the kiss in their mind. This kiss doesn't run the risk of the mortal dying instantly but without appropriate medical intervention in the next 36 hours the mortal has a serious risk of death from blood loss. With appropriate medical intervention they end up hospitalised for treatment.
Take the "Taste Knows Taste" advantage (one dot.) You can eat well prepared and high quality food and drink and keep them down for two hours. Low quality or badly prepared food and drink takes a Composure + Stamina test (Difficulty 3) to keep down for one hour. Revolting, spoiled or rotten food is instantly rejected, no matter humanity level or Blood Points spent. Even the best and most extreme flavours in food and drink taste muted.
Take the "Quick Bite" disadvantage (two dots.) If you haven't spent the scene engaged with a mortal in pleasant company any attempt to feed on them requires you attempt to violently drain and kill them.
Take one dot in Dominate or Presence.
Dine well... :)
